Frazetta's son steals $20 mil of his dad's artwork with a backhoe
Alfonso Frank Frazetta, son of the renowned fantasy artist Frank Frazetta, was arrested in eastern Pennsylvania yesterday after having reportedly stolen 90 items valued at approximately $20 million from a museum dedicated to his father's work. The younger Frazetta, aged 52, had an accomplice with a backhoe who helped him pull the door off of the museum. Frazetta was arrested after loading the works into a trailer and vehicle and was apprehended before he could drive off and flee the scene, according to The Pocono Record .
New Moon director Chris Weitz defends alleged video pirate
While the Cullen family of vamps in Twilight sure seemed to like playing a friendly round of baseball, somebody is playing some seriously nasty hardball with a 22-year-old Chicago woman, who is facing a possible three years in jail for having three minutes of The Twilight Saga: New Moon on her digital recording device. New Moon director Chris Weitz has stepped up and stated that "the case seems to me terribly unfair, and I would like to do what I can to address this."

I Am Legend director consulting on Jonah Hex reshoots
In what looks like an indication that a malediction may have been cast on Warner Brothers' new adaptation of DC's Jonah Hex comic book (aren't you glad we didn't say "hex"?), Bloody Disgusting reports that reshoots are scheduled to begin soon on the supernatural western. Hex's director Jimmy Hayward (whose only previous feature was the animated Horton Hears a Who?) will be handling the reshoots, with I Am Legend director Francis Lawrence on hand for "consulting."
